Piney Woods Live's Collection of Western Art included my photograph titled "Life of Texan Cattle."They roamed the open fields, grass was plenty,colored by blue bonnets and Indian paintbrush, the skies were azure blue,spotted with white clouds.
They roamed free in Texas.
Until one day they realized they were there for a purpose. The meat lovers chopped them, teared their skin off them, polished their horns and named them long horns.
Even after they died, celebrated their life and decorated their homes with their remains.

The whole world needs to know that what we wear is very important part of who we are.
Nagano Prefecture and Kathmandu are sister cities. It was a great to meet an 82 year old teacher in Japan who visits Mt. Everest Base Camp every year since 30 years ago. With great appreciation I include this newspaper article in this blog!


Whereas other languages have one script, Japanese has 3 written scripts- Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. There is a lot to remember but once you get it, you can express your nuance in expressing it in a different script too!




Meijo University Years were challenging, especially when there were 154 students in class and I was the only international student!!!
The idea of getting less or no change coins when you make a payment in cash seemed of little significance at first but when a jars of coins lay around your house, its time to take action.

Natural Harmony organized a program at Will Aichi Women's Center in Nagoya, Japan. I was invited as a guest speaker to talk about Nepalese Lifestyle and Culture based on my illustrations.
I was back in my birthplace, Kathmandu,Nepal after almost a decade and was amazed to see the art scene flourish. I visited Gallery Nine then located at Lazimpat with my father. The ongoing exhibition was about the national animal of Nepal, which is the Holy Cow!
